The Most Beautiful Region in Italy

Introduction
Sicily is one of the most beautiful and intriguing areas bordering the Mediterranean and a far cry from mainland Italy. Sicily, despite being an Italian province, has a distinct culture and history that creates a beautiful identity well worth exploring. As the largest island in the Mediterranean, Sicily has been an incredibly important and strategically vital location for thousands of years meaning the island has a rich and varied history to explore. Here we’ll look at the best Sicily has to offer.
beautiful region

of course it depends of what you are looking for know anywheresardinia offer you realy beautyfull (and not so crowed ) beaches and also the natural environment is pleasurable if u look for mountains to climb better to go in the north of italy (you can still swimm in the lakes) Beautiful Region in Italy if you prefer clubbing and nightlife between veron and milan you will find your heaven tuscany has particular feeling you can breath in the towns and in the country if you want to see cities your must are rome and milan
Most Beautiful Cities
It’s not just the countryside that’s beautiful in Italy—so are many of the cities! As well as stunning, Italy’s cities are incredibly fascinating, full of art, history, ancient ruins, and more.Although it was hard for us to keep it to only 10, here are 10 of the most beautiful (and interesting!) cities in Italy. (Nota bene: For this post, we’ve considered only cities with a population of 75,000 or more!). Trust us: a visit to any one of them can make your trip spectacular!
Verona
Verona isn’t just where William Shakespeare set Romeo and Juliet—it’s also a beautiful city that offers a lot to do and see! Gujarat 18 Days Cultural Tour From ancient Roman ruins (including an incredibly well-preserved arena) to a medieval castle, from stunning piazzas to historic churches, Verona is bursting with sightseeing opportunities. And, oh yes, it’s one of the most beautiful cities in Italy… and every bit as romantic as you’d expect!
Venice

What makes Venice one of the most beautiful cities in, well, the world? Let us count the ways… There’s Venice’s unique, lovely architecture (find out how to “decode” Venice’s palaces!), its beautiful churches, and its show-stopping St. Mark’s Square. But what really makes Venice beautiful is the fact that it’s built entirely on canals—so there’s no traffic or bus exhaust, and along many canals, all you can hear is the lapping of the water
Bologna
The largest city in the region of Emilia-Romagna (and the region’s capital), Bologna is also, well, beautiful! And there’s a ton to do here. From soaking in the academic ambience (Bologna is home to Europe’s oldest university), to enjoying the region’s excellent cuisine in local trattorie, to climbing the leaning tower of Bologna (it’s not just in Pisa!), there’s something in this buzzing city for everyone.
Rome
The largest city in Italy, Rome, with its 2,500 years of history and innumerable archaeological sites, art museums, churches, and ruins, might just be the most fascinating! Despite Rome’s relatively compact (and beautiful!) historic center, you could easily spend a month exploring the city and not see everything. And, yes, there are a lot of places to see in Italy. But to come to Italy in search of its most beautiful spots and cities… and not visit Rome? Well, that would be a crime!
Naples
Naples often gets a bad rap—and, yes, the city is a little “grittier,” and much more chaotic, than Italy’s other cities. But there’s a reason why people call it bella Napoli. There’s something about the decay of Naples’ elegant palaces and medieval castles that’s both bittersweet and beautiful. And there is a ton to do and see here, from enjoying the city’s world-famous food to exploring its eerie underground to seeing some of the most important art and archaeology in Italy at Naples’ top-notch museums

How to Choose a Best Spa Treatment

Spa Basics
Spas began when people started soaking themselves in hot springs thousands of years ago. But the spa world has changed since then. Spa directors often set a rigid agenda for how services will be performed, Best Spa Treatment are strict about the length of time spent on a service, and require meticulous consistency in method. For some massage therapists, this can be deadening to the spirit. Spa formats can be like asking an artist to do a painting - the exact same painting - every 50 minutes.
Destination Spas
‘Welcome’ says the Destination Spa, ‘here’s your robe and slippers, would you fancy a swim before your massage?’Expect total immersion in the spa experience, in a place dedicated to health, fitness and relaxation. There’ll be scheduled activities such as yoga, pilates and relaxation classes, and plenty of wet spa experiences. Your ‘ahhhhhhhh…’ is their specialty.

Ship Spas

And while you relax on a heated tile lounger or in a steamy sauna, eyes drooping, thoughts of work and bills scurrying far away, you're probably not wondering about your cruise line's philosophy on its spa product. But when you sit down at your computer to research your next cruise vacation, you may very well want to know where to find the best spas at sea. And we'll be there to help.

How to Choose a Dental Plan And Health Insurance

Information
As you move on from Duke, we would like you to be aware of your health insurance coverage options. Some of you will be moving on to jobs that offer health insurance coverage. For those who are not, you have several options:

  • Recent reforms in the Affordable Care Act allow young adults to be covered under a parent's health insurance plan until the age of 26. The Department of Heath and Human Services (HHS) has posted a Facebook page to guide you through this option. This link offers information for both students and parents. Talk with your parents to see if this is a good option for you.

Dental Plan

The cost of dentistry is what keeps more than half of consumers away from the dentist for years at a time, according to a survey by the American Dental Association. Most dental costs are easy to anticipate, though, except for emergencies, such as breaking a tooth.dental and health insurance Plans Less obvious dental needs often can be predicted by regular, routine checkups that include diagnostic x-rays to assess the overall condition of the teeth,Other needs to consider are whether you or a family member may require specialty care, such as braces or other orthodontia, dentures or tooth implants or crowns or bridges. These generally are not covered as extensively as routine care, such as exams and fillings.
Dental Insurance
Duke offers employees a choice of dental care plans, depending on the level of coverage faculty, staff and their family members may need. Both plans cover preventive, basic, and major services, but they differ in how they pay for covered services. Under each plan, participants can visit any licensed dentist.
health insurance
Does the student health insurance cover dental services? No, but the Aetna Student Health plans offer a dental discount program that students can purchase separately. Vital Savings on Dental by Aetna is a dental discount program helping you and your dependents save on a wide array of dental services - with a special student price. The cost for students is $25 annually and provides coverage from September 1st through August 31st . Students can enroll themselves and one dependent for $44, or themselves plus two or more dependents for $63.Medical and Health Insurance Does the student health insurance cover prescription drugs? No, however, there is a pharmacy located in Health Services on the Tempe Campus where students enrolled in the Aetna Student Health Plan receive a additional 5% discount on the already reduced price prescriptions.

Dental Coverage
Your health insurance covers just about everything except your teeth. When it’s time to head to the dentist, your health insurance likely turns a blind eye to your ailing chompers, but that’s not to say that a trip to the dentist isn’t going to take a bite out of your wallet. Much like your car, it doesn’t take much to spend a thousand dollars or more. A crown may cost $1,500, and a root canal might run you $300 to $1,000. Even a simple cleaning will likely come in at more than $100. Dentists aren’t cheap and that’s why dental insurance coverage may be appropriate for you.
Benefit Changes for 2012-13
Preventive care services will be available to SMIP subscribers at 100% coverage. Please refer to this link provided by BCBSNC for specific services covered. Please visit the StudentBlue website atfor additional information concerning the student medical insurance.

  • STI screening will be covered at 100% (there will be a limit on the number of annual screenings).
  • Generic oral contraceptives will be covered at 100%.
  • There will be no limit on the number of visits with Dietitians.
  • The immunization benefit limit (currently $500) will be removed (immunizations covered by the plan are subject to CDC and AAP guidelines).

With the addition of these enhanced benefits, we are excited to announce that there will be a modest premium increase of only 3% for the new plan year. Please see below for the new rates.

The Best of Tuscany Europe Itineraries

Suggested Itineraries
Tuscany is densely populated with tourist attractions, perhaps more so than any other region in Europe. It could take months to experience all of its art, architecture, food, and wine. Admirers of Michelangelo and Piero della Francesca could spend 2 weeks in Florence and Arezzo. Wine buffs could sip and sniff their way through 2 weeks in Chianti and Montalcino. Romantics could dream away that time in Lucca alone. I've designed the 1-week and 2-week itineraries for first-time tourists to discover the best of Tuscany and Umbria. Then there is a tour for families, and one for food-and-wine enthusiasts as well.

Itineraries in Tuscany

Tuscany is certainly one of the most beautiful regions in Italy. Thanks to its breathtaking panoramas, excellent wine and exquisite food, Tuscany is visited by millions of people every year. There are so many things to see and to do that it can be a real challenge to plan your holidays in Tuscany. Here we recommend and suggest some of the places you absolutely must visit as well as itineraries organized by themes or by days, such as 7 days in Tuscany and what to see across the region. Thus you'll find some ideas or starting point when organizing your time and travels in Tuscany.
Iconic Itineraries
Trying to describe all the pleasures and prides of Tuscany–that fecund, almost ridiculously picturesque region of central Italy–would take more pages than a single issue of this magazine, and even then, we'd just scratch the surface. So visiting the area, whose capital is Florence and which contains a dazzling number of the world's iconic masterworks, as well as some of its most luscious wines and scrumptious foods, presents two unconquerable problems.
tours of Tuscany
If you prefer someone else to sweat the logistics details, take care of the driving (or train tickets), and provide a professional guide for all the sightseeing, consider an escorted tour. Not just any tour, mind you, but one that allows you a measure of the kind of freedom independent travel offers—small groups (12 or fewer), trasnport usually on local trians and buses (rather than a giant tour bus), and the freedom to program some of your own sightseeing and meals Travel & See the Culture of Italy (rather than being forced to do everything and eat everywhere as a group)—but still with all the support of a local guide.
Best itinerary 7 days in Tuscany
So much to see in so little time! We've reserved a place for a week in Poggobonsi, and would like advice on seeing "the best of the best" in Tuscany in that time. I'm not particularly interested in churches, but would like to visit the villages and sites that are not merely historical but charming and picturesque. We have a group of six and will have two rental cars so transportation will be easy and the group can split up, so all suggestions may be used. Any suggestions for vineyards and restaurants are also appreciated.

The Solution
There are many ways to discover Tuscany, of course, but the most efficient, intimate, and unexpected is to use a travel specialist such as Maria Teresa Berdondini of Tuscany by Tuscans. She was skilled at negotiating the realities of visiting Italy and at arranging special experiences that are the stuff of every tourist’s fantasy. Together, we worked out an itinerary that shows off an essential Tuscany, one that reveals the best of the region's tastes, smells, and sights and will appeal to both the first- and fifteenth-time visitor.

Travel Insurance Review 2013 Compare Travel Insurance

Introduction
If you're living with a medical condition, you'll understand how hard it can be to get affordable travel insurance cover for your condition. Some companies might not even offer cover at all.We know that spending ages trawling through countless travel insurance sites or spending wasted hours on the phone can be thoroughly disheartening. You want to find a specialist travel insurance policy that provides the cover you want, at the price you want, but it can be time consuming and frustrating getting competitive quotes.
Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is one of the most complex and confusing aspects of trip planning. With the myriad of plans and companies, people can easily get confused about what they should get and why. Given its importance and the amount of time it’s been since I last discussed it, I want to start the year by discussing it.Travel insurance is something you will need on the road. Travel insurance You never know what could happen, and most health plans won’t cover you overseas. I never thought I would pop my eardrum while I was scuba diving or break my camera in Italy.
2013 Compare Insurance
without investing the time to understand every nuance of the policy are usually the source of the many complaints that one hears about the industry. “I bought insurance that was supposed to protect me if a hurricane destroyed the lodging at my destination and when it happened, the provider denied my claim.” Actually, if the complainer had spent the time to carefully read the policy, it would have been clear that the tropical storm that had already received a name (even though it was a week from landfall) when the customer purchased the insurance was no longer an “unforeseen event” by the time it devastated the destination lodging.
Guide to Travel
The first step that we took as we approached our review of travel insurance vendors was to research the level of legitimate complaints. We recommend that you do likewise as you compare travel insurance plans. None of the vendors that we reviewed have alarming levels of valid complaints. It is surprising, however, how different the policies are from each other. Medical Insurance in Philippines Each vendor emphasizes a slightly different aspect of protection.
Travel Benefits

The first detail to understand is what happens if anything intervenes to prevent you from even beginning the trip that you insured. What is the trip cancellation policy? What exactly has to happen to allow you to abandon travel plans and receive compensation for the prepaid and nonrefundable expenses incurred? Is there an option to cancel the trip for any reason whatsoever?
Medical Benefits
Some travel insurance policies lump together a benefit that covers any sort of medical or dental emergency caused by accident or sickness. Some policies subdivide the medical categories to provide one benefit for, say, emergency medical and dental, and another benefit for emergency accident and sickness. Most, but not all budget travel insurance vendors cover costs of emergency medical evacuation. Among those that do, the range of compensation varies dramatically. Some providers include a benefit for common carrier accidental death and dismemberment and some do not. Let the buyer beware.
Help & Support
Help and support is the one category where there is a great deal of commonality among travel insurance policies. Every policy that we reviewed seems to offer similar features: 24/7 toll-free or collect telephone access to travel, business and concierge services. When we apply the guidelines to the product lineup and compare travel insurance plans side by side, we find that the travel insurance policy from TravelSafe Insurance, TravelSafe Vacation Plan offers the best overall coverage and benefits.
