Good Location for Waikiki
We chose the Marriott for best value after pricing all the name brand hotels near the beach with an ocean view. The beach is a walk across the street and very convenient. It is not a beachfront hotel. Convenient ABC store, restaurants and shops all in walking distance. Their downstairs restaurant has a bargain all you can eat breakfast buffet for $15, including a chef station to make any omelet or egg dish you want. The upstairs pool area is nice to enjoy the view with a typical Hawaiian drink like a Mai Tai. Our room was comfortable with a balcony ocean view, nice big screen TV, refrigerator. We might stay again if our Marriott rewards program gets enough points for a free night or two.
